Voxengo releases SPAN Plus v1.6 – Spectrum analyzer plugin
SPAN Plus is a real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer AAX, AudioUnit and VST plugin for professional sound and music production applications. For the most part it was derived from Voxengo GlissEQ dynamic parametric equalizer and reproduces its spectrum analysis functionality.
Main v1.6 changes include:
- Implemented EBU-R128 “LUFS” and “LU” metering modes.
- Implemented “True Peak” peak level and clippings detection.
- Added 1/24 octave spectrum smoothing option.
- Added AIFF sound file support to Static spectrum load function.
- Increased resolution of saved static spectrum files.
- Added “Blackman” and “Hi-Res” spectrum window types
